‘Warp Composers’ represents artists across the Warp Publishing and Warp Records rosters from their offices in London & Los Angeles.
For over 15 years, their list of artists have provided unique original scores for award-winning films and series from directors such as the Safdie Brothers, Sofia Coppola, Johann Renck, Peter Strickland, the Duffer Brothers, Bo Burnham and Yorgos Lanthimos.
They have worked with A24, HBO, Netflix, BBC, Channel 4, Sky, Canal + and Warp Films, our composers have consistently created iconic soundtracks such as Uncut Gems, Eighth Grade, Stranger Things, Berberian Sound Studio and many more.
The warp composers website design was developed by CTP – Conversation Taking Place, an independent design studio based in Berlin. The site serves as a digital platform and collective archive for Warp Composers—a group of musicians and sound designers working across disciplines.
The website is informed by the group’s shared language: generative sound, layered rhythm, and non-linear composition. Our creative direction took inspiration from tempo, fragmentation, and silence—designing a structure that mirrors how the collective thinks and works.
Navigation unfolds gradually, using modular sections that reflect layered sound. Transitions are subtle and rhythmically paced. Rather than a top-down system, the site flows horizontally—looping between content types and creating intuitive pathways.
Typography remains neutral, letting the sonic material and visuals take precedence. Layouts were designed to be fluid, allowing both individual works and collective presence to coexist.
The warp composers website design supports audio, video, and text in equal measure. It adapts to different types of contributions—performances, installations, essays, and sound archives.
The site was built in collaboration with the group, shaping a platform that reflects their shared ethos. Design elements were guided by musical logic: repetition, pause, and transformation.
Color, spacing, and motion respond subtly to user interaction—creating an experience that feels alive without being overwhelming.
CTP creates platforms that hold experimental and multidisciplinary practices. If you’re seeking a digital identity that reflects your artistic method, our approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and system-based.
As an independent design studio in Berlin, we specialize in visual communication, editorial clarity, and long-term creative strategy.
